Nothing introduces black color variant for Ear 2 earbuds, coming soon to India
Delhi : Nothing, the popular audio brand, launched the Nothing Ear 2 earbuds in India earlier this year as the successor to the Nothing Ear 1. Initially available only in white, recent leaks suggested the introduction of a black color variant, which has now been confirmed by the company. The black Nothing Ear 2 offers the same specifications as its white counterpart, with the only difference being the color of the earbuds and charging case. The black variant will be released in India later this month.
Pricing and Availability
The Nothing Ear 2 is now available in two color variants, black and white, priced at Rs. 9,999 in India. The black variant will go on sale starting July 21 through Flipkart, with preorders for both color options open from July 11 to July 20. Existing Nothing Ear 2 users will also gain access to the Advanced Equalizer and Noise Reduction features through the Nothing X app starting July 6.
Specifications and Features
The Nothing Ear 2 earbuds offer up to 40dB of active noise cancellation and feature an 11.6mm custom driver that delivers powerful bass and clear sound. Each earbud incorporates three AI-backed microphones and supports touch controls for easy operation. Users can pause or play music, answer or end calls with a single tap, skip ahead or decline calls with two taps, and skip back on the playlist with three taps. Switching between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode can be done by pressing and holding either of the earbuds.
The Transparency Mode allows environmental noise to be heard, providing users with awareness of their surroundings whenever needed. The Personal Sound Profile feature enables customization of the sound experience and is accompanied by Clear Voice Technology, which enhances sound quality in windy or crowded environments.
The Nothing Ear 2 supports Bluetooth v5.3 connectivity and comes with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, while the charging case has an IP55 rating. The earbuds offer a total battery life of up to 36 hours when used with the charging case, which houses a 485mAh battery, while each individual bud is equipped with a 33mAh battery.
