Odysse Vader: A look at India's new electric bike
Delhi : Odysse Electric, an electric two-wheeler manufacturer with headquarters in Ahmedabad, has unveiled its newest model in India. Odysse Vader is the brand-new electric motorbike from the company, and it costs Rs. 1,09,999. (ex-showroom, Ahmedabad). The first electric bike with a 7-inch Android display is the Odysse Vader.
Those interested in purchasing the Odysse Vader can do so for as little as Rs 999 at the company's website or any of its 68 locations throughout the nation. Beginning in July 2023, the bike will start to be delivered.
Feature, design, and drivetrain
The Odysse Vader has bodywork in the commuter style, a split seat, a round LED headlight, and a compact tank. Just beneath the tank is a 3.7kWh battery. Large side panels surround the battery and protect it. The electric motorbike has a 3kW motor that, according to the manufacturer, can reach a top speed of 85 kmph. In the meantime, the 3.7kWh battery is said to have a 125km claimed range in Eco mode.
Vader is given three ride modes, reverse mode, a seven-inch instrument console, navigation, live tracking, immobilisation, Geo-fencing, and low battery alerts by Odysse. The vader travels on alloy wheels covered with tyres that are oriented towards the road. Dual rear shocks and telescoping front forks are featured. There are front and rear disc brakes in the braking system.
A Bike Locator, Anti-theft, Geo fencing, Immobilization, track & trace, and Low battery Alarm are just a few of the useful navigational tools included in the company's Odysse EV App, which is available for Android users.
