OnePlus 12R excitement builds: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 edition - Features, Launch date, and more to expect

Delhi : On December 5th, OnePlus plans to unveil the OnePlus 12 flagship in China. However, there are other gadgets being developed as well. We've been hearing rumours about the OnePlus 12R, which is purported to be an Ace 3 rebranded. This will be released as a somewhat less expensive variant of the OnePlus 12. The OnePlus 12R has now been sighted on the IMDA certification site in Singapore.

The model number CPH2609 is assigned to the OnePlus 12R based on its IMDA certification. Although the listing doesn't list the phone's hardware specifications, rumours have given us an idea of what to expect.

The OnePlus 12R's launch date in India is January 23, according to information leaked by the latest global marketing campaign.

Expected features of the OnePlus 12R

The smartphone, may include a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits. In comparison to its previous version, which had a 5,000 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, the future OnePlus phone may have a 5,500 mAh battery with support for 100 W rapid charging. 

Furthermore, a triple camera arrangement with two 50MP sensors that support both OIS and EIS and an additional 8 MP camera that supports EIS is anticipated for the rear of the OnePlus 12 R. The OnePlus 12 R may include a 16 MP camera up front to satisfy demands for video calls and selfies.

Although OnePlus hasn't formally disclosed the date of the smartphone's global release, several rumours imply that it may happen in the upcoming month. The next OnePlus 11R could come in India on January 23.
