Delhi : Later today, the Oppo Find N2 Flip will be released in India. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will face direct competition from this device. A 50-megapixel main sensor and a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chip are anticipated for the new Oppo phone.

Oppo will introduce a foldable phone in India, becoming only the third major smartphone manufacturer after Samsung and Motorola to do so. The Oppo Find N2 Flip, which has already been released in China, will also be made available in India after being unveiled at a global event in India. Of course, it is Oppo's first foldable phone and features a design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. Oppo had also introduced a sideways-folding device in China, but sadly, neither the international nor Indian markets will see it.

However, the Find N2 Flip will undoubtedly spice things up in the foldable market, where there are currently only two major players: the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Moto Razr. Only Samsung's last two generations allowed the price of both phones to be reduced from their original starting prices of more than Rs 1 lakh. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 was the most affordable "flip" phone up until last year when it was introduced at a price of Rs 89,999. Oppo would undoubtedly try to undercut Samsung with its phone pricing.

It doesn't hold back when making assertions. In a recent statement, the company said that the Find N2 Flip, the result of five years of research and development, "brings together the best in foldable technology and design to create an inflexion point in the flip phone industry." It also added that the Find N2 Flip won't have a crease, giving Oppo an advantage over Samsung's foldable phones. Here is what we currently know about the Oppo Find N2's prices, features, and other details before its launch.

What to expect with the Oppo Find N2 Flip?

Screen size and resolution of Oppo Find N2

At the Oppo global launch event, there won't be many surprises because the phone has already been released in China. Through its advertising, the company has additionally stated that the same model will be sold in India. This means that the Oppo Find N2 Flip will have two displays: a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 21:9 aspect ratio, and a 3.26-inch cover display with 720 x 382 pixel resolution. A 60Hz refresh rate will be used for the outer display. According to Oppo, the exterior display will be the largest ever on a flip phone. The phone's pictures also imply the same thing.

Storage and Battery Backup

The phone's internal hardware is probably an 8GB RAM (with virtual RAM expandable to 16GB) and 256GB internal storage MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. A 4,300mAh battery with 44W SUPERVOOC fast charge support should be included with the phone. Even though the battery backup is better than the Galaxy Z Flip 4, which comes with a smaller 3700mAh battery, this could be a significant improvement.

Camera compatability and Colours variant

Three cameras in total—two on the back and one on the inner display—will be present on the OPPO Find N2 Flip. A 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor will make up the dual rear camera setup. There ought to be a 32-megapixel camera on the front. Astral Black and Moonlit Purple are the two colour options that the Oppo Find N2 Flip is anticipated to be released in.

Price cost and availability

During the global launch event, the Oppo Find N2 Flip India price will be revealed. Just to refresh your memory, the phone's starting price in China for the 8GB + 256GB storage model was CNY 5,999, or about Rs 71,000. Now, if the same model also makes it to India, the price will undoubtedly increase, but if Oppo can keep the price around Rs 80,000, it will be able to give the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 some serious competition. In addition to the initial price, expect some bank and exchange offers.
