Delhi : Since the introduction of the iPhone 14 series, it has been over six months. Apple has already begun developing the iPhone 15 models, despite the little amount of time. Some information is revealed as these attempts go on. The camera features are the most recent information to be made public. 5–6x optical zoom is anticipated for the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

5–6x Optical Zoom is Predicted for the iPhone 15 Pro Max

Because of how well its cameras function, iPhones frequently make news. Though the business continuously provides higher quality, it trails behind rivals in terms of new features. For instance, although Apple debuted 3x optical zoom with the iPhone 14 Pro series, Samsung offers up to 100x optical and digital zoom.

This multiplier increases to 15x when digital is included. Rumour has it that this year will bring about a change. The upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max is anticipated to include a "periscope lens" that could increase the optical zoom by up to twofold.

It's not shocking that Apple will equip its iPhone 15 Pro Max versions with periscope lenses. Similar assertions were made by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in the past, who also predicted that the feature would only be accessible in Pro models. This kind of lens enables up to a 5–6x zoom. As a result, there won't be any quality degradation when the back camera takes a picture of something far away.

Similar to a camera, a periscope lens employs mirrors and lenses to provide extreme magnification without enlarging the apparatus. It is modelled after the periscope that submarines use to view above the surface while remaining covert. By bending light through mirrors and keeping the camera tiny, periscope lenses in smartphones make it easier to shoot high-quality zoom images. The devices of many manufacturers, including Samsung and Huawei, already have this feature.
