POCO F5 pro: WQHD+ display and more details revealed
Delhi : On May 9, 2023, POCO will make the F5 series announcement on a global scale. The company has recently been dropping hints in order to keep the buzz about its forthcoming smartphones alive. The POCO F5 Pro would arrive with a WQHD+ display, according to that series of announcements from POCO.
It is evident from the image posted by POCO Global that the device will include a front-mounted punch-hole selfie camera that is centred. The power and volume keys for the phone will be on the right side of the frame. The bottom side of the frame would have a speaker unit and a USB Type-C connection for charging and data transfer.
POCO Global tweeted to announce the news, writing, "Introducing the first #POCOFSeries with WQHD+ and Flow AMOLED! Don't let your phone prevent you from taking in the beauty of the world.
The company had previously hinted that the F5 Pro would have curved back corners and carbon racing stripes on the back. The smartphone is seen in the image, and it has an IR blaster and a speaker grill on top.
The brand has not yet commented on the POCO F5 Pro's introduction in India. On the other hand, its more compact relative, the POCO F5, will make its Indian debut as the POCO F4's replacement on the same day.
Poco F5 Details Teased
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor for the POCO F5 has been officially confirmed by the manufacturer. In a tweet, POCO India asserted that it had a 969,903 AnTuTu score. The newest Snapdragon CPU would contain an Adreno GPU and be based on a 4nm technology. The listed cores were: 1 Prime X2, 3 A710, and 4 A510.
The device has a white shimmering back with triple cameras and a dual LED flash, as shown on the brand's official Indian website. The flat frame and "gradient design with a hint of blue" are two of POCO's claimed features. It will also be the thinnest F series phone, measuring 7.9mm in thickness and 181g in weight.
In terms of price, the POCO F5 is anticipated to launch for Rs 27,999, according to tipster Paras Guglani, who was cited in a MySmartPrice article. Additionally, t might go on sale on May 11, 2023.
