Delhi : Apple has some exciting news for all classical music fans. The Cupertino-based tech company has said that on March 28 it will release Apple Music Classical, an exclusive music app in the genre.

Earlier plans called for the Primephonic-acquired application to go live near the end of 2022. Users will now be able to enjoy it more quickly, though. Users can now pre-order the app before it launches since it has debuted on the App Store.

With the usual Apple Music subscription, users will be able to access the new app, which will be available as a separate download in the App Store.

According to the company's official press release, Apple Music Classical makes it simple to search any recording from the largest collection of classical music in the world. Listeners will be able to enjoy the greatest audio quality, including spatial audio, on their favourite classical pieces, and the catalogue is well optimised for search.

The classical genre is said to be the greatest method to experience the enhanced audio experience using Apple's spatial audio. Users of the new app will have access to significant works, tailored playlists, detailed biographies, and thousands of exclusive albums.

The app's description on the App Store states that "Hundreds of Essentials playlists, detailed composer biographies, deep-dive guides for many essential pieces, and intuitive browsing tools" make it simple for beginners to become familiar with the genre.

Together with thousands of spatial audio recordings, the application will play music at up to 192 kHz/24-bit high-resolution lossless. According to Apple, the app will also provide precise classical information, which has proven difficult for many music streaming services.

In August 2021, Apple bought Primephonic. A streaming service for classical music called Primephonic provided an excellent audio experience with a wide selection of musicians and songs.
