Delhi : Realme, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, debuted its newest flagship model locally. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset powers the 144Hz OLED display in the Realme GT5. Weibo has been used by the firm to share a post announcing the release of the smartphone. In China, the Realme GT5 is already up for pre-order and will shortly be in stock. The business first unveiled the smartphone during MWC Barcelona, which took place in February.

The 240W rapid charging support is the Realme GT5's main selling point. Additionally, the smartphone comes with two fast-charging models: 240W and 150W.

Realme GT5 cost and accessibility

Pricing for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage Realme GT5 150W model starts at 2999 yuan, or roughly Rs 35,000. The pricing of the 150W variant's 16GB RAM and 512GB storage option is 3299 yuan, or roughly Rs 37,000.

On the other hand, the 240W option, which costs 3799 yuan (almost 43,000 rupees), features a single 24GB RAM and 1TB storage type. In China, all three variants are up for pre-order; they will all be on sale on September 4. The two color options for the smartphone are Flowing Silver Mirror and Star Mist Oasis.

Realme GT5: Important specifications

The 6.7-inch 144Hz 1.5K flat T7+ OLED panel in the Realme GT5 was made by Tianma. The screen's thin chin and side bezels, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and maximum peak brightness of 1400 nits are all supported.

The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, which supports Whirlwind memory engine 2.0 and offers up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Additionally, this is the first Realme phone to receive the IRX gaming experience certification from Pixelworks.

Additionally, the Realme GT5 has a separate X7 display chip. According to the manufacturer, the display chip would provide a frame rate of 144 fps that is compatible with 110 mobile games. Additionally, the smartphone has a graphite material cooling system and an Ice core cooling system for better heat dispersion.

A 50MP Sony IMX890 with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera are all included in the smartphone's triple-rear camera configuration for optics. Wi-Fi 7 is also supported by the smartphone. The 4600mAh version of the 240W fast-charging model boasts a nine-minute full charge time for smartphones.
