Redmi A2 and Redmi A2 Plus launched in India, with starting price as low as Rs 5,999
Delhi : In India, Redmi has introduced two new low-cost smartphones. The Redmi A2 and Redmi A2 Plus are these phones. The price of the first episode of the series is Rs 5,999. Just as its name implies, the Redmi A2 Plus is the most costly of the two models. The Redmi A2 Plus has a number of important features, including an octa-core Helio G36 CPU, an 8-megapixel dual camera system, a 6.52-inch display, a 120Hz touch sampling rate, a 500mAh battery with a 10W in-box charger, and more.
Redmi A2 smartphones have a similar design to other low-cost smartphones. Three colour choices are offered for both smartphones: Sea Green, Calming Aqua Blue, and Classic Black. On May 23, at 12:00, interested customers can purchase the smartphone at Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi Home, and all retail locations.
Price of the Redmi A2 and A2 Plus in India
Both phones have fair prices from Redmi. There is only one 4GB + 64GB edition of the Redmi A2 Plus available. The cost of this model is Rs 8499. For Rs. 5,999, Rs. 6,499, and Rs. 7,499, respectively, the Redmi A2 is available in three different configurations: 2GB + 32GB, 2GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 64GB.
Holders of ICICI bank cards are eligible for an extra immediate discount of up to Rs 500 on the purchase of certain gadgets as part of the introductory offer.
Information on the Redmi A2 and Redmi A2 Plus
The 6.52-inch HD Plus display included on both of the low-cost Redmi phones, according to the manufacturer, provides a "excellent viewing experience through bright colours and sharper details." The smartphones also include a 3.5mm headphone port, a 120Hz touch sampling rate, and an FM radio app built-in for entertainment while on the road.
The Redmi A2 series is equipped with the most recent octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 CPU, up to 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. Mobile devices, according to the manufacturer, "deliver smooth and lag-free performance that ensure a smooth gaming and multimedia experience to the users." Up to 7GB of RAM, including 3GB of virtual RAM, may be used with the octa-core Helio G36 CPU.
The phones are packaged with a 5000mAh and 10W charger. Redmi states that the handsets may stay on standby for more than a month (32 days) on a "single full charge with no further activity." They may last up to 150 hours (32 hours for movie playback) with moderate use, including music and video playing.
The Redmi A2 series has a rear 8-megapixel dual camera system that the firm touts as providing "a crystal-clear video calling experience" in terms of camera specs. Additionally, the phones came with tools like time-lapse, portrait mode, and quick films.
