Delhi : Sennheiser has entered the premium section of the Indian market with the Ambeo soundbar Plus and the subwoofer (Sub). The premium home theater soundbars and subwoofers from Sony will go up against the new Ambeo line.

The Ambeo soundbar Plus bills itself as the first standalone 7.1.4 soundbar in the world. It has a 400W sound output capacity. Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, 360 Reality Audio, MPEG-H Audio, equalization, and user-customizable presets are all included with the soundbar Plus.

The Sennheiser soundbar Plus runs on the Ambeo OS and is compatible with Google Assistant-enabled devices that have Chromecast built in as well as Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and other streaming services. Even Apple Siri and built-in Alexa can use it. The Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functions are also included with the soundbar Plus.

Similar to the Sennheiser Smart Control app, the Ambeo Sub includes all the functions and is capable of 350W of sound output. Up to four subwoofers can be connected by users. Like the soundbar Plus, it also modifies the music to suit the acoustics of the space.

Sennheiser's Ambeo Soundbar Plus costs ₹1,39,990, while the Ambeo Sub is available for purchase for ₹69,990. Both of them are offered on Amazon, in physical stores, and on the corporate website.
