New Delhi : Feeling nostalgic after reading the headlines? Well, you must as one of the most sought entertainment device Walkman has been re-launched by Sony in a complete new avatar. 

The company has refreshed the iconic Walkman series with the Android Walkman NW-A105 in the country, priced at Rs 23,990.

First released in 1979, the original Sony TPS-L2 Walkman was the first truly portable personal cassette player that had then changed the way people used to listen to music.

Since then, several other versions of the device have been launched.

With the new launch, the company aims to take back people to the memory lane alongside innovation and commitment to offer best-in-class audio experience.

"The Sony NW-A105 Walkman comes with a built-in memory of 16GB which can further be expanded up to 128GB," the company said in a statement.

It comes with an Android 9.0 and sports a touch display (3.6 inches), supports “Support Hi-Res Audio”.

The end users will be able to download songs with Wi-fi support. The latest Walkman NW-A105 comes with a strong battery backup of 26 hours that makes it a perfect travel buddy.

The device will be available for purchase from January 24 and will be available in black colour.

The Walkman comes with intense detail of DSD audio formats up to 11.2 MHz, thanks to the NW-A105 high-quality PCM conversion.

The NW-A105 also features a USB Type-C port for easy and fast charging.
