Tecno Camon 20 series launches in India: High-resolution rear cameras and unique design

Delhi : Camon 20 series will soon join its predecessors on Amazon.in, according to Tecno. In favour of a new "masterful aesthetic" finish that will make the smartphones with up to 120Hz FHD AMOLED displays stand out in the mid-tier market, they abandon styles like a limited-edition Mondrian-inspired theme.

They are the 20 Premier, 20 and 20 Pro, with the latter having a non-5G variant that will reportedly not be released in India. However, the Pro and 20 Premier will launch with the same 'new' MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC.

The Premier model still has exclusive access to the greatest 108MP primary camera in the series. Although the 20 Pro and 20 are rumoured to start at INR 14,999 (about US$181) and INR 19,999 (about US$241), respectively, the price has not yet been disclosed.

The Pro and Premier models won't be made available through Tecno's Amazon shop in India until June 2023, while the vanilla 20 is scheduled to be on sale tomorrow (May 29, 2023). The newest Camon-series smartphones will each have at least two colour options and a Memory Fusion capability that can increase their RAM up to 16GB.
