New Delhi : Say, someone offers you earphones that don’t play your favourite music? Would you like pay for it? Chances are there that you will say a big ‘no’. But, now Bose wants you to pay an amount close to $250 for a pair wireless earphones that will not play music but help you “sleep better”.
Might sound silly, but yes, Bose, an audio equipment manufacturer has come up with an extra-ordinary earphone which has the capacity to block out all forms of external noise such as traffic, loud neighbours and even snoring to help you sleep. This wireless earbuds is called Sleepbuds.
Bose is renowned in the market for manufacturing best quality products which deliver exceptional audio quality. Manufacturers say that the newly launched Sleepbuds come pre-loaded with 10 soothing sounds that come from nature such as cascading waterfall, rainfall on leaves, rolling and crashing waves etc. These soothing sounds are set to play all night, however, you can choose to schedule a timer if you don’t want soothing sounds to play all night. This timer can be set within the Bose Sleep app, and the sound will fade out when the timer ends.
Bose earphone has in-built application to offer wake-up alarm and since, these Sleepbuds are tucked in users’ ears, he/she can hear the alarm easily.
Experts mentioned that Sleepbuds automatically turns on when removed from the case. There are no user controls on the Sleepbuds and all the control is done via the app. This includes the selection of sounds, volume control, setting alarms, and managing updates. The Sleepbuds come equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and are compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
Like most other wireless earbuds, they too come with a charging case that recharges them and is said to deliver one additional full charge to them. They have a claimed charging time of 8 hours and a battery life of up to 16 hours. The charging case has up to 3 hours of charging time.
Bose Sleepbuds are now available in the US at a cost of $250. It will soon be made available across the globe. Now, one can expect to sleep well at the expense of some Rs 17,000. So what you don’t get to hear music, you can at least promise yourself to have a sound sleep!
