WhatsApp's 'Delete for everyone' and other latest features that are useful
New Delhi : WhatsApp recently introduced 'Delete for everyone' feature that enables users to call back messages from both individual as well as group chats.
The new WhatsApp feature is now available on Android, iOS, and Windows smartphones. The latest addition is very fruitful for those who accidentally send a message to a wrong person or group.
Ever since Facebook has bought WhatsApp, the company is pushing new features in it aggressively; if latest reports are to be believed then the WhatsApp is also working on the launch of UPI based payment services.
Here is a quick look at the four features WhatsApp has recently added:
WhatsApp Delete for everyone: The company has officially rolled out recall/revoke message feature. With this, the users can delete a sent message within seven minutes of sending time. It is mandatory for both the sender and receiver to have the latest version of the app.
WhatsApp Live Location: The new feature allows users to share his/her live location with friends and also control till what time they can see it. Whatsapp blog said that the new feature is end to end encrypted. In order to use the feature, you need to have the latest WhatsApp version.
WhatsApp share media: In an update, WhatsApp allowed users to share almost anything including texts, videos, pictures, contacts, and other things. Recently, the media file sending limit was increased from 10 to 30.
WhatsApp Status Update: Like Instagram and Snapchat, the WhatsApp also introduced a 24-hour long status story feature. You can now put any number of videos and pictures as a Status on WhatsApp.
