Delhi : WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, is apparently rolling out a new group calling feature for macOS devices, allowing users to make group conversations with a limited number of participants.

According to WABetaInfo, it was previously impossible to establish a group call since the button was either hidden or not functional on macOS. However, the call options (audio and video) are now accessible in the newest WhatsApp beta version, and users may now initiate a group call.

Furthermore, according to the source, the new function would allow users to make a new group call with those who aren't in the same group.

Simply open the calls tab and press the call button.

Users may make a new group call in this area of the app by choosing the persons they wish to add to the call.

According to the source, users will be able to pick up to seven individuals in this part, but up to 32 people will be able to join group audio conversations afterwards. Certain beta testers have access to the option to place group calls within groups, as well as all other upgrades. Meanwhile, WhatsApp is said to be developing a broadcast channel discussion for Android, as well as 12 other features.

A full-width messaging interface, verification status, number of followers, mute notification button, handles, actual followers count, shortcuts, channel description, mute notification toggle, visibility status, privacy, and reporting are among the features.
