New Delhi : World’s most popular messaging apps,  WhatsApp has rolled out five new user-friendly features to its users. The practice of continuously making changes to its app on both iOS and Android platforms will now offer best of experiences to its users. The Facebook-owned company is testing more new features that will be incorporated into the app, if successful.

‘Click to Chat’

This WhatsApp feature ‘Click to Chat’ allows users to send messages to numbers not saved in their contact list. To use this feature, the app lets you create a link, which will allow you to start a chat with the unsaved number.

Link instantly with Facebook

WhatsApp’s parent company Facebook is testing a feature which allows users to share the link instantly via ‘Send to Whatsapp’ option. This will eliminate the need to go to share options in the drop-down menu.

Group audio calls

The testing of another interesting feature is under progress. If successful, it will enable users to do group audio calls on iOS devices. This feature will be similar to the current audio calling feature with a few changes. The group calling feature will obviously compete with the conference call feature in a normal call.

In addition, Whatsapp is testing another update for Android, i.e the ‘select all’ option. This feature will enable the user to select all the new messages and mark them as read/unread. It will also allow users to quickly delete the chats.

New media visibility feature

WhatsApp has added a ‘media visibility’ feature to its Android beta version. This feature will allow the users to decide whether they want Whatsapp media content to be displayed in the gallery or not. The user-friendly feature already exists on iOS.
