Delhi : A new feature that permits history sharing for the new group members is now being developed by WhatsApp, a well-known instant messaging service that has added a number of new features this month. The functionality is now being worked on and will initially appear in the Android beta version, claims the report.

The "Recent History Sharing" setting for groups is predicted to be added by WhatsApp to allow this feature, according to WABetaInfo. The feature will automatically share all messages sent in the group a day before a new member joins. Only group administrators will have access to this feature once it becomes available.

In order to better understand the context of the new messages, users will be able to examine conversations shared before they join the group using this functionality. The recent history-sharing feature is reportedly still under development and is expected to show up in a later release of the application.

According to a source, the messaging app's beta version of an AI sticker creation and distribution capability was reportedly sent out last week. The platform, which is owned by Meta, has just released a new multi-account feature for the Android beta, allowing users to add more accounts to the app. This feature enables users to maintain all of their chats, including private, business, and other conversations, in a single application. The company was also believed to have started developing a new passkey feature for account verification on Android beta.

Users are authenticated using a passkey, which is a short string of numbers or letters. Additionally, it serves as a security code, guaranteeing that only authorized devices can be verified.
