In 2021, Microsoft released Windows 11, a free update for Windows 10. But because to a flaw in the update mechanism, the operating system has been accessible as a free upgrade to Windows 7 and Windows 8. Through a bug, customers may utilize the key associated with Windows 7 and Windows 8 to upgrade to Windows 11.
It was revealed late last month by Microsoft that Windows 7 and Windows 8 keys will no longer work with Windows 11, but this is the first time the block has really gone into effect, according to The Verge. Interestingly, if you had previously updated a computer from Windows 7 or Windows 8 to Windows 11, the activation status of Windows 11 would remain unchanged. For a clean Windows 11 update, Microsoft is no longer taking keys associated with Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Microsoft has included an AI-powered picture generating tool in Paint, a text extraction capability in Snipping tool, and an AI-based auto compose feature in Clipchamp video editor in addition to the Windows 11 copilot. The Windows 11 September update also offers improved backup features, additional language options for the Narrator, background blur for photos, and AI-based search capabilities within the Photos app.
