Xiaomi launches Pad 6 with 144Hz display and snapdragon 870 SoC
Delhi : Xiaomi's newest tablet, the Pad 6, has officially debuted in India. The Xiaomi Pad 6's base model, which comes in two variations and has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, costs Rs 26,999. The premium variant, which has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, costs Rs 28,999. The Xiaomi Pad 6 will be available for an effective price of Rs 23,999 and Rs 25,999, respectively, with an immediate discount of Rs 3,000 for ICICI Bank card holders.
Starting on June 21, Amazon, Mi.com, and Xiaomi retail locations around the nation will sell the tablet.
Three new accessories have also been released by the business, including the second-generation Xiaomi Smart Pen, which costs Rs 5,999, the Xiaomi Pad 6 keyboard case, which costs Rs 4,999, and the Xiaomi Pad 6 case, which costs Rs 1,499. In a similar vein, Xiaomi recently released the Buds 4 Active for Rs 1,399, complete with the Google Fast Pair function, IPX4 rating, and more.
Regarding the technical details, the Xiaomi Pad 6 has an 11-inch 2.8K, 10-bit, 144Hz IPS LCD screen certified for HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision. The Snapdragon 870 SoC with 6/8 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256 GB UFS 3.1-based storage powers the tablet.
The Pad 6 sports a quad-speaker configuration with Dolby Atmos compatibility, just as the Xiaomi Pad 5. Additionally, the gadget offers HD audio streaming across wired and wireless networks. The tablet sports a single 13 MP camera on the back and an 8 MP camera up front. The tablet is powered by MIUI 14, a customised version of Android 13 for tablets.
The tablet has an 8840 mAh battery with a USB Type-C connector that supports 33W rapid charging and up to 4K output to televisions. The Xiaomi Pad 6 boasts all of the most recent connectivity technologies, including Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6. However, cellular connectivity is not available.
