New Delhi : Chinese electronic giant, Xiaomi has already sent invitations to media persons and VIPs for its 2018 annual product launch event in Shenzhen to celebrate its eighth anniversary. While the company confirms to launch the Mi Band 3 at the same event on May 31, the price of the gadget got leaked, somehow. 

As per the leaked information, Xiaomi Mi band 3 will be available at CNY 169 which roughly translates to around Rs 1787 in India. While there is no information as to when the health tracker will be launched in India, but we can expect Xiaomi to launch it here as well.

The Mi Band 3 is expected to exhibit a touchscreen OLED display minus any physical buttons. The company has remained tight-lipped about the specifications and features of Mi Band 3. It is expected to offer Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity with NFC and will be IP 67 certified splash proof.

For now Xiaomi, is busy making last-minute preparation for its grand event to be held tomorrow on May 31 in China. It is an event dedicated to celebrate its successful eighth anniversary. The company has confirmed to launch the Mi 8 smartphone will also introduce a new version of its interface, MIUI 10. 

Talking about the event, Xiaomi is reportedly selling tickets for the event at a price of between 799 Yuan and 1,999 Yuan. The event venue will reportedly accommodate seat for around 5,000 guests.

Besides, Xiaomi is also confirmed to launch a new ‘selfie-centric’ smartphone in India on June 7. Meanwhile, the company had recently launched its first products under its ‘Mi Crowdfunding’ platform in India. The Mi Bluetooth audio receiver is priced at Rs 999 while the selfie stick tripod is priced at Rs 1,099.
