YES bank partners with Microsoft to create a new generation of mobile apps
Delhi : A new generation of mobile applications that would provide users a customized banking experience were to be developed in conjunction between YES Bank and Microsoft, it was revealed on January 3.
YES Bank will leverage Microsoft's Azure platform to construct the app, which will provide customers a range of services, including online payments, shopping, rewards, and offers, as well as customized dashboards, in addition to normal banking activities.
The new initiative will run on Microsoft's cloud platform for enterprises. YES Bank intends to expand a variety of services with the help of the app by bringing ecosystem partners and merchants together on a single platform.
According to the bank, by doing this, it will be able to meet all of its customers' financial demands, including those for loans, payments, deposits, investments, cards, and more.
"Our relationship with Microsoft is a testimony to this endeavour, as we look forward to co-creating a solution that will provide clients the benefit of transacting and carrying out a variety of additional activities on a shared platform," said Prashant Kumar, MD & CEO, YES Bank, in response to the news.
He stated: "We believe that the concept would strike the perfect mix between flexibility and simplicity while staying inside the confines of a highly secure network shared by YES Bank and Microsoft.
"YES Bank has been embracing the change from traditional banking to delivering customized technology-driven customer experiences," said Anant Maheshwari, President of Microsoft India, in response to a question about this cooperation.
He said, "Microsoft Azure enables YES Bank to construct resilient and secure infrastructure that enables them to produce cutting-edge experiences for their customers.
