Afghanistan: Taliban launches co-ordinated attack in Kunduz, sets off gun battle

Kunduz : The Taliban on Monday launched a co-ordinated attack on Monday in Kunduz, a city in Afghanistan, setting off a gunbattle with Afghan forces.
No immediate reports of casualties or deaths have been received from the site of the incident.
Kunduz is the capital of the strategically important Kunduz province, a breadbasket region that borders Tajikistan to the north and sits on a major crossroad in the country.
