Lahore : Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan shared a brief video on his official Twitter page claiming that the cops have arrived outside his house and they are here to arrest him and take him to the jail where he might get killed. Mr. Khan has been facing charges of misuse and his office to sell the state gifts.

The scenes outside his house were nothing less than riots as the police personnel and supporters of Imran Khan clashed over the arrest of the former Prime Minister of Pakistan. The police were seen using water cannons and tear gas to disperse the supporters of Imran Khan who pelted them with stones and bottles.

Meanwhile, the 70 year old cricketer turned politician shared a video on his official Twitter handle and asked people to continue their fights for their rights and freedom. The video, he was seen saying, "the police have come outside my house to take me to the jail. They think by putting Imran Khan to jail, people will go to sleep. You have to prove them wrong."

"For your rights and proof freedom, you have to come out and fight. But if something happens to me, or if I am sent to jail, or if they kill me, you have to prove that even without Imran Khan, this nation will continue its fight and struggle and show that you will never accept slavery. Under these thieves and the one person who has been making decisions of the country," he said in the video.



According to some media reports, the Internet services were snapped around Imran Khan’s house and helicopters were used for surveillance in the area. The reports of protests also arrived from places like Islamabad, Peshawar and Karachi after the video released by Imran Khan.

For those who are not aware. Imran Khan is facing a non bailable arrest warrant against him in the Toshakhana case. He has been alleged of selling the gifts received from foreign dignitaries for his own benefits. The arrest warrant was issued by the court after he ignored repeated summons to appear.
