Coronavirus: Death toll in China reaches 2,346; 123 infected in South Korea
New Delhi : The coronavirus has refused to die down despite severe efforts to combat it in China. With 96 more people dying due to the deadly coronavirus, the death toll in China has reached 2,346.
While several countries other than China are trying their best to avoid the coronavirus cases, it has been reported that 123 people have been found positive to the infection in South Korea, bringing the total number of cases to 556.
In Italy, 79 cases have been reported. Till date two people have lost their lives in European nations due to coronavirus.
Further, India, on its part, is also taking strict precautionary measure, be it evacuating Indian nationals from China or conducting screening tests of people coming from Asian countries.
Mumbai Airport official told news agency ANI, "As directed by Govt of India, the Airport has started screening passengers coming from Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam & Nepal. People coming from China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Japan & South Korea will continue to be screened as earlier."
