Los Angeles : Recently, satirical commentary about politics has become popular with several talk show hosts as they take up the trend in US. Trevor Noah is one such talk show host who has come into limelight after replacing John Stewart. Throughout the election season, Noah and his satirical commentary about politics was a delight to watch by all.

But on Sunday, the host brewed Indian sentiments when he took up the ‘National Anthem issue’ in his talk show. He first spoke about Narendra Modi's demonetisation craziness but later guided the show to the 'National Anthem' awkward verdict.

In one of his recent episodes, Noah talked about the Irony of India by making ‘too difficult to ignore’ remarks on the demonetisation initiative and ‘National Anthem’ agenda.

He also poked fun at the Supreme Court’s directive that made it mandatory for the national anthem to be played before each movie screening.

Talking to his audience, Noah pointed out the awkwardness of being excited to watch a ‘dirty’ movie, but having to rise for the anthem before it begins.

He even breaks into a rendition of the Indian national anthem which might offend some but please ‘point be noted’ here.

Well, it seems India’s verdict on wearing patriotism on your sleeve brethren has caught up with America too. And, Daily Show host Trevor Noah is just as amused, if not perturbed, by the ongoing nationalism project in India.
