Islamabad : A message is being forwarded on the social media with claims that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has been tested positive for coronavirus.

This came soon after the news of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson testing positive to the coronavirus. But all thanks to Pak PM Imran Khan's live appearance on TV, the news gets cleared on its own.

Pakistan PM Imran Khan appeared live on TV news channel where he discussed the current Covid-19 crisis with senior journalists. Various channels, including GeoTV, PTV News, and 24 News, streamed the prime minister's address on how to tackle the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Like many other countries in the world, Pakistan is also under lockdown with exception to essential services. Pakistan's government also opened its borders to accept Chinese medical supplies to fight the viral infection, which has affected 1,235 people and claimed 9 lives.

Recently, it was announced that Pakistan will be taking help of the youth force, comprised of volunteers from across the country. They will be known as "coronavirus relief tigers" and will be delivering essential supplies at the doorsteps in an event when the coronavirus outbreak goes out of hand.

PM Imran Khan also started a relief fund, which will be used to help the daily wagers and those in need. The prime minister also urged Pakistan citizens in foreign countries to deposit their money in a newly-setup account to boost the country's economy.
