Government extends ban on international flights till July 31
New Delhi : The government on Wednesday extended ban on international flights till July 31. "The restrictions will not apply on cargo flights and flights which have been approved by DGCA," the aviation regulator said in a notification.
International flights on selected routes will be allowed on case to case basis, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation added.
Suspended International flights have been suspended in India since March 23, 2020 due to coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, special flights have been arranged under special Vande Bharat Mission since May last year.
