Iraq crisis: 17 Indians evacuated from conflict zone, says MEA

The Ministry of External Affairs of Tuesday said that 17 Indians have been evacuated from the conflict zone in Iraq with the help of local authorities.
“We have been able to evacuate 17 more Indian nationals with help of local authorities. In the zone of conflict, there are limited number of Indian nationals,” Syed Akbaruddin said.
On the abducted Indian nationals, Akbaruddin said that they remain in captivity but are not harmed and safe.
