Ivanka Trump posts photo of herself behind Oval Office desk, faces criticism

Los Angeles : US President Donald Trump’s daughter on Wednesday garnered negative attention on social media after she posted a picture of herself sitting at the Oval Office desk while her father and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gave a standing pose for the shutterbugs.

The photo is getting a strong reaction online after posting Ivanka posted a photo of herself on Twitter , Instagram and Facebook.

She also added a message, "A great discussion with two world leaders about the importance of women having a seat at the table!"

The picture garnered support from Trump’s fans and followers but was widely criticised by those opposing Ivanka’s growing emergence at the White House as leading lady.

Some even went on to the extent of saying that the lady has not earned the right to sit behind the desk.

Ivanka Trump sat next to Trudeau during a roundtable meeting with female executives from the U.S. and Canada on Monday.
