London : A survey has revealed that one in three UK primary school kids are known of the fact that cow lays eggs, a survey has revealed.

According to a report by Mail Onilne, three out of 10 children aged 6 to 11 years do not have any idea that tuna actually comes from fish. One-tenth say they have never tasted cherry tomato.

In the report, experts have been quoted as saying a huge lack of knowledge among the UK kids. This situation comes with an urgent need to focus on incorporating proper knowledge source in the schools at an appropriate age.

The latest poll involving a sample size of 1,000 school kids has been conducted by a charity and a kitchen appliance firm.

British Nutrition Foundation ad polled 27,500 children two years ago, only to find that one in three think that cheese comes from plants and tomatoes grow underground.
