Phase 5 of Vande Bharat Mission to begin from August 1: Air India

New Delhi : Air India on Friday announced the commencement of Phase 5 of Vande Bharat Mission from August 1, the day will also mark the beginning of Unlock 3. The airlines is yet to make an announcement over the details of the mission.

"Under the #VBM, Air India has brought back more than 2.5 lakh Indians from as many as 53 countries. We are launching Phase 5 of #VBM from 1st Aug 2020 & have added many more flights to several International destinations. Details will be announced shortly."

Here is what to expect in Unlock 3:

1. More international destinations will open up in August.

2. Phase 5 will not be a monopoly of Air India. Private airlines will also be part of it as they have been of the ongoing phase 4.

3. SpiceJet will fly to the US and the UK.
