PM Modi invites Japanese businesses to join India's developmental efforts

  • PM Modi on Monday invited Japanese businesses to join hands in India's developmental efforts 
  • He also promised speedy clearances
  • Making this announcement he also talked about setting up of a Special Management Team to facilitate business from Japan
  • The team will be managed under PMO
  • Modi said rules and laws are now being changed in India which would show results in the near future
  • "We have to decide if we want to have 'vikas vaad' or 'vistar vaad' which leads to disintegration. Those who follow the path of Buddha and have faith on 'vikas vaad', they develop. But we see, those having ideas of the 18th century, engage in encroachments and enter seas (of others)," said Modi
  • He also slammed Congress and mentioned that the last decade phase was bad and is over now
  • The 5.7pc growth in economy was emphasised by PM Modi during the speech 
  • To keep things fair and clear, Modi said two representatives of Japanese business can be part of an Indian team which decides on business proposals.
