Russia announces special military operation in Ukraine

Russia : Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday announced special military operation in Ukraine to protect Donbas. Addressing an emergency address, he said that the operation has begun to demilitarize the nation.

The emergency operation comes hours after Ukraine President Volodymyr claimed that the nation does not pose any threat to Russia.

In a video address, he said that Ukraine demands security guarantee from Russia.

The Ukrainian President reassured that his nation does not poses any threat to Russia and forced invasion will result in loss of many innocent lives.

Meanwhile, UNSC is holding an emergency meeting over the current situation in Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that any resistance to stop his army from entering Ukraine will result in consequences.
