New Delhi : Coronavirus has been spreading its wings fast in China and people who have visited China recently are becoming the source of it getting spread in the world.

The governments are taking all possible measures, including the screening of visitors coming from China and other countries. But it is not a solution or measure to put a full stop on the virus as many of the people have reached their nations days before the virus news came to light.

Till date, people who were found with symptoms of Coronavirus were being observed; but a story of a 10-year-old boy has raised concerns all across the globe.

The boy belongs to a family who had visited China with his family for the New Year holidays. He looks completely fine and healthy but his grandparents fell ill and were treated after they returned to their hometown.

Though the boy had no symptoms of the coronavirus, his parents insisted on getting his checkup done to get completely sure about his health. And what came in reports was not just shocking for the parents but also for the authorities.

The boy has been tested positive to the virus and the family had no clue that he could be having the disease as he looked perfectly fine and healthy.

"You may have mild disease spreaders that would be feeding sort of a community outbreak and they don't go to hospital because they don't feel that bad," said Ralph Baric, professor of microbiology and immunology at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, who has studied coronaviruses for decades and warned about their threat before the 2003 SARS outbreak.

The case has been published in The Lancet medical journal on January 24.

While both the boy's parents were infected, each had a normal body temperature when they sought treatment. Later, the virus spread to a sixth relative who hadn't travelled.
