Video: Young man pisses on control panel, gets trapped in elevator

Beijing : Experience of getting trapped in an elevator is scary in itself, but what could one say when he himself is at fault for this.

A young man in China got trapped inside an elevator after he urinated on its control panel. The CCTV footage of the incident released by Chongqing in south-west China has gone viral on the internet with people sharing the funny moments of the bizarre video.

In the CCTV footage, the boy can be seen deliberately aiming a stream of urine at the control panel. He zips up his pants and moments before he is about to leave the elevator, things go wrong. 

Under panic, the boy then presses almost all buttons on the same control panel but nothing happens as the elevator remains motionless and later goes dark.

Local media in China reported that the boy was then rescued by building maintenance staff and didn’t suffer any lasting injury.

The building's lift has been put under maintenance and the boy's parents have been asked to pay for the damages.
