Mumbai : French President Emmanuel Macron started his visit to India with a quiet and unexpected moment in Mumbai. Before official meetings and motorcades took over his schedule, he stepped out early in the morning for a jog along Marine Drive.
Just hours after landing in the city on Tuesday, Macron left his hotel with minimal fuss. Dressed in a navy blue athletic T-shirt, black shorts and running shoes, he was seen jogging along the curved promenade as the Arabian Sea shimmered in the background. Security personnel followed him at a discreet distance, allowing the French leader to blend into the city’s calm morning atmosphere.
At first, regular walkers and joggers continued with their routines, unaware that they were sharing the path with the President of France. Soon, however, people began to recognise him.
