White House breaks silence over killing Indian techie in Kansas
New Delhi : One week after Indian techie was shot dead in Kansas Bar, Donald Trump's White House reacted only to say, "initial reports of the incident are disturbing."
White House press secretary Sean Spicer made a reference while condemning attack on Jewish community; people termed the attack on Indian techie as hate crime.
"And while we're at it, I don't want to get ahead of the law enforcement, but I was asked the other day about the story in Kansas -- the shooting in Kansas. And while the story is evolving, early reports out of Kansas are equally disturbing," Spicer said.
Indian Embassy in US has demanded a speedy investigation in the party, reports ANI news agency.
Meanwhile, slain body of the victim arrived in Hyderabad where family will be performing the last rites.
Srinivas Kuchibhotla, was shot dead, in Kansas by a US Army veteran, who allegedly yelled "get out of my country" and "terrorist" before shooting.
