New Delhi : Imagine you are sitting on the window seat of an airplane; it is on the runway speeding to take off and suddenly the right engine on the wing bursts into flames, the plane stops and now the engine is burning right in front of your eyes; most of the people will go into a shock to see a near death experience. Now, cut to reality, the same happened with an Indigo A320 airbus on Friday night.

Indigo's aircraft was on the runway at Delhi's IGI airport, set to take off for Bangalore when this happened.

A passenger on the plane caught the whole incident on her camera and the video is now being shared massively on the social media.

According to reports, no passenger has been hurt in the incident and all of them were safely deboarded from the aircraft soon after the incident. Meanwhile, there is no clear cause of fire in the engine so far.

Some media reports claim that the engine may have caught fire after it struck with a bird or any other object. It has also been reported that the pilots on the plane did not use fire extinguisher to doze off the fire. It went off automatically after a couple of seconds.
