New Delhi : Team India is leading the Test series 2-0 against Australia; BCCI has now announced the squad for the upcoming remaining two Tests and the ODI series against Australia. Rohit Sharma has been given the responsibility to choose the vice captain for the third Test. For a change, Hardik Pandya has been appointed as the captain for the first ODI match against Australia due to unavailability of Rohit Sharma during the game.

On the official Twitter handle, BCCI announced the squad for the remaining Tests and ODIs.

Rohit Sharma out from first ODI

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma will not be playing the first ODI against Australia, during his absence Hardik Pandya will be taking charge as the captain to play against Australia. Hardik Pandya has been leading the T20 side for India in recent times. It will be a good opportunity for him to prove himself for the ODIs captainship as well.

Team India has once again retained the Border Gavaskar trophy for the fourth time as they defeated Australia in the second game to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the four match series. Team India has also made good chances of making it to World Test Championship final. They would need one more win in the remaining two Test matches.
