Xiaomi Redmi 6 gets cheaper by Rs 1500 in India: Check new price of the smartphone
New Delhi : Xiaomi Redmi 6 had become the fifth smartphone by the company whose price has been slashed in India this week.
Xiaomi is celebrating its 5th year of operations in India and since January 7, Xiaomi has announced a permanent price cut for one of its smartphone every day.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 price in India earlier started at Rs. 8,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage version while the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage version was retailing at Rs. 10,499. After the recent price cut, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 price in India now starts at Rs. 7,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage version while the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage version is now priced at Rs. 8,999.
Xiaomi Redmi 6 specifications and features
Display: A 5.45-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D curved glass and 1000:1 contrast ratio.
Processor: The smartphone is powered by the Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 12nm processor clocked at 2GHz and paired with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
RAM and ROM: Xiomi Redmi 6 comes with an option of 3GB RAM with 32GB / 64GB storage, expandable up to 256GB with microSD.
Android: The device runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 9 on top, which is upgradable to MIUI 10.
SIM slot: Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD) connectivity.
Camera: A 12-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, EIS, 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF and a secondary 5-megapixel camera for AI portrait shots. At the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture, AI portrait and AI beautify features.
Other features: It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Face Unlock, dual microphones, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS + GLONASS, micro USB support and a 3000mAh battery.
