Delhi : In the Indian location of Guwahati, a 5G Experience Center was opened. As a consequence of a collaboration between AMTRON, the Government of Assam, and the Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC), Guwahati now has a 5G Experience Center. It should be noted that although AMTRON and TSSC carried out the project, the Northeastern Council, Ministry of Development of Northeastern Region, Government of India, was responsible for initiating it. The new 5G Experience Center in Guwahati was officially opened by G Kishan Reddy, Minister of the Ministry of Development of the Northeastern Region (MDoNER).

The city's 5G Experience Center seeks to enhance 5G use case applications in India's Northeastern area. The minister also launched TSSC's "Skill on Wheels" project, according to a press statement from TSSC. Through the NCVET-certified courses provided by TSSC, the Skill on Wheels initiative will equip candidates for a variety of telecom sector vocations with skills and certification. The Northeastern Council will pay for these courses. In addition to these courses, MOOCs that follow the TSSC Norms will be made accessible for applicants to attend online in a digital format.

G Kishan Reddy, Minister of DoNER for the Indian government, stated that "Based on this vision, North Eastern Council, Ministry of DoNER has 100% funded the rolled out India's first 5G Training Labs and 5G Health Use Case applications on a large scale across all 8 NE States."

He said, "This project was finished throughout all 8 States in a record time of roughly 75 days, which is a record for any initiative of the North Eastern Council under the policy of "Act First & Fast For North East."

These programs and activities to upskill Indian youngsters will go a long way toward assisting the nation in quickly realizing its goal of a Digital India that is centered on 5G and other next-generation networks.
