Delhi : The Chinese multinational electronics giant Xiaomi has partnered with Amazon to launch their first-ever Fire OS-powered smart TV in India. With this partnership, Xiaomi will be able to provide a wider variety of products to Indian consumers.

With the Google Android TV operating system and a customized MIUI for TV user interface with a cutting-edge content recommendation engine, Xiaomi has already developed a reputation in India for lowering the barrier to entry for smart televisions. With the new advancement, Xiaomi will be able to broaden its product lineup to include a customized Fire OS, much like other companies like Onida and even Amazon with its Amazon Basics smart TV.

The forthcoming Xiaomi Smart TV will be bezel-less, presumably with a greater screen-to-body ratio, however the company hasn't given many further specifics about it. It is also revealed in one of the teasers that it will use the Android-based Fire OS.

According to a tweet, the new Xiaomi Smart TV is anticipated to continue being exclusively sold by Amazon. The user interface has also been teased by the firm, and it appears to be very similar to that of the most recent Amazon Fire Stick and Fire Stick 4K.

Indian consumers have reacted well to Xiaomi's recent release of the Stick TV 4K with Android TV 11 OS, which can turn a regular monitor or TV with an HDMI connector into a smart TV. Customers in the nation are anticipated to respond similarly to the launch of the new Fire OS-powered smart TV.
