New Delhi : Bajaj Auto is gearing to launch the refreshed version of its one of the most popular electric scooters, Bajaj Chetak, on January 14, 2026. Chetak, already among India’s best-selling EV scooters, is expected to receive key upgrades that enhance performance, design, and rider convenience.

The upcoming model is likely to feature a more efficient battery pack with improved range and quicker charging. Bajaj has reportedly refined the motor for smoother acceleration and better handling, making the scooter more suitable for urban commuting. Cosmetic changes are also anticipated, including new color options and subtle design tweaks that preserve the Chetak’s retro-inspired appeal while adding a modern edge.

Connectivity will be another highlight. Industry sources suggest the scooter may come equipped with advanced digital instrumentation and smartphone integration, aligning with consumer demand for smart mobility solutions. These updates are expected to strengthen its position against competitors such as the Ola S1 and TVS iQube.
