Delhi : Chetak Premium EV 2023 Edition has been released by Bajaj Auto in India. The scooter is now a more opulent alternative thanks to new colour options, added amenities, and a price of Rs. 1.52 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).

The Chetak EV has been improved with "exquisite detailing and the use of premium materials," the manufacturer claims in a recent news release. The new colour options for the scooter include Satin Black, Matte Caribbean Blue, and Matte Coarse Grey.

The current Chetak costs Rs 1,21,933 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), and Bajaj Auto is currently accepting reservations for the future version of the scooter, with delivery scheduled for April 2023.

A sizable, high-tech all-colour LCD console that more clearly displays vehicle information is one of the revised Chetak's primary features. A luxury two-toned seat, body-colored rearview mirrors, a satin black grab rail, and matching pillion footrest castings have also been added by Bajaj.

The scale-up phase of Bajaj Auto's electric scooters has also begun. According to Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director, the new Chetak will build on the excellent work done on their EV supply chain. Sharma anticipates that the premium features and new colours will change the game. He thinks the Chetak electric scooter might be described as the most aspirational model.
