CBSE 2025 Re-evaluation: Verification Window to Open Soon - All You Need to Know
New Delhi : Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared Class 10 and 12 results on May 13, 2025. Students who are not satisfied with their marks will soon have the opportunity to apply for verification of marks, obtain a photocopy of their evaluated answer book and request re-evaluation through the official website: cbse.gov.in.
CBSE 2025 Re-evaluation: Key Steps and Instructions
Step 1: Verification of Marks
Before applying for re-evaluation, students must first apply for verification of marks. This is a mandatory step, as the re-evaluation process requires access to the answer book.
How to Apply for Verification:
- Visit cbse.gov.in.
- Click on the "Apply for Verification" tab.
- Select your class (Class 10 or 12).
- Log in using your roll number and date of birth.
- Pay the processing fee of ₹500 per subject.
The outcome (whether marks increase, decrease, or remain the same) will be communicated via the student’s login account.
Step 2: Obtain a Photocopy of the Answer Book
Once verification is completed, students can request a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book.
How to Request the Answer Book:
- Go to cbse.gov.in.
- Click on the "Apply for Answer Book" tab.
- Log in with the same credentials used for verification.
- Pay the processing fee of ₹500 per subject.
- The scanned copy will be provided in the student's login account. All personal information of the evaluator will be masked for confidentiality.
Step 3: Apply for Re-evaluation
After reviewing the answer book, students who believe there are errors in evaluation can apply for re-evaluation.
- How to Apply for Re-evaluation:
- Visit cbse.gov.in.
- Click on the "Apply for Re-evaluation" tab.
- Log in using the same credentials used for previous steps.
- Pay the fee of ₹100 per question for which re-evaluation is requested.
- The re-evaluation will be conducted by a different examiner.
- If any change in marks is warranted, it will be updated in the official records.
The revised result will be available in the student’s login account.
Note: Students can apply for re-evaluation only once, and no appeals or further reviews will be considered.
