CTET July 2020: Deadline for online application extended to March 2

New Delhi : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date of online application to March 2 for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2020. Those who want to apply for it must do it right now on the official website - ctet.nic.in - as the earlier last date was February 24.

The online application process had begun on January 24; the examination will be conducted on July 5.

Steps to apply for CTET July 2020

Step 1: Visit the official website ctet.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on ‘Application Form for CTET July 2020’ under ‘Current Events’

Step 3: On the next page, if you are a new user, register yourself and go back to the login page

Step 4: Enter your credentials and login

Step 5: Next, the application form will be displayed on the screen

Step 6: Fill in the application form and upload all the necessary documents

Step 7: Pay examination fee by e-challan or debit/credit card

Step 8: Download the application form and keep a future copy for future reference

The CBSE CTET paper will be conducted in two parts: Paper-1 and Paper-2. While Paper-1 is for those interested in teaching classes 1 to 5, Paper-2 is for those who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. Those who want to teach at both levels, meanwhile, will have to appear for both the papers.
