"Delhi will become Khalistan": Nine schools receive bomb threat

New Delhi : On Monday morning, nearly nine schools in Delhi received bomb threats with a warning that the national capital will become Khalistan. Bomb squads and fire tenders were rushed to the locations.

Nine schools across the city received the bomb threats, which include:

• Loreto Convent School, Delhi Cantonment

• Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri in South Delhi

• Venkateshwar School, Rohini in North West Delhi

• CM School, Rohini

• Bal Bharati School, Rohini

• Cambridge School, New Friends Colony in South Delhi

• The Indian School, Sadiq Nagar in South Delhi

• DTA School, INA

According to reports, the nine schools received email which mentioned, "Delhi will become Khalistan. Punjab is Khalistan. In memory of Afzal Guru." It has also been learned that the email also warned of carrying a blast in Parliament on February 13 at 1:11 pm.

No reports of finding a bomb or casualty has been reported so far.
