Actor Yami Gautam summoned by ED over forex violation

New Delhi : The Enforcement Directorate has summoned actress Yami Gautam on Wednesday for alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).

The agency has found a foreign exchange transactions to the tune of ₹ 1.5 crore in her bank account, said officials.

The 32-year-old actress was summoned earlier too but she was unable to appear before the agency.

The investigation is being carried out under the civil proceedings of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, said sources.

Meanwhile, Yami Gautam tied knot with director Aditya Dhar last month.

On the work front, Yami was last seen in the movie Ginny Weds Sunny. She has starred in movies like Bala, Yuddham, Badlapur, Sanam Re, Kaabil and Uri: The Surgical Strike.
