Priyanka Chopra's Mary Kom wins Best Film award in Stockholm

New Delhi : Omung Kumar's ‘Mary Kom’ turned out to be the best film at the Stockholm International Film Festival Junior in Sweden.

Based on real life hero Mary Kom, the film was awarded with the Bronze Horse award, the highest honour of the festival.

Omung was quoted saying that the film was most liked by the jury made up of kids ranging from the age of nine to 17 years.

The film was released on September 5, 2014 and was praised by almost all critics and audiences.
