Amber Heard settles defamation case with Johnny Depp

New Delhi : Amber Heard, who had lost the defamation trial against her husband Johnny Depp, has made a strong revelation on Instagram. The actress has now officially confirmed that she has settled the defamation case against Johnny Depp. Sharing her thoughts on an Instagram post, she also mentioned that she has lost faith in the American legal system.

It must be noted that both Amber and Johnny were fighting a legal battle over last 6 years after the actress alleged that she was a victim of domestic violence during her short marriage. After a gruelling discussion in Virginia court, the season went in the favour of 59 year old star Johnny Depp.

after continuous efforts to fight the legal battle the actress has finally agreed to settle the case. For that, she has agreed to pay Johnny Depp $1,000,000.

The defamation trial head came to an end in May in the favour of Johnny Depp. He had been awarded $10,000,000 in compensatory damages and $5,000,000 punitive damages.
